May 15 – Venus is retrograde
May 20 Annular eclipse of the Sun
June 4 Partial eclipse of the Moon
June 5 - Lunar eclipse of Pluto
Venus. transits between Earth and Sun
June 24 – Solstice.
If we have felt that life has been intense over the last few months, let’s hold onto our hats, for we are in for an even faster ride, According to Eric Francis, skilled astrologer and writer of Planet Waves, (April 20, 2012 Blog Post), we may feel we are at a crossroads with little sense of how to interpret the choices open to us, while society around us may seem to be going backwards in terms of anti-women, anti-sex, anti fair tax laws etc.
Pluto deals with sex, death, power and fear. Nothing can stop the movement of Pluto, or its influences in the world. Capricorn tends to deal with the patterns of the past. Pluto is now in Capricorn. Eric describes the situation this way. Pluto in Capricorn is “like a herd of goats getting into a museum. They’re going to take the place apart, munch on the exhibits, and lick the dinosaur bones. Well, it really goes deeper than that. This sense of the Earth shaking that we live with every day — that is Pluto in Capricorn. The feeling that civilization is being crushed under its own weight: Pluto in Capricorn. And the burning sense of urgency, coming from inside and not from any external excitement: also Pluto in Capricorn.”
As we move through Spring, it seems we will be experiencing a breaking through and a deep transformation. Here we find astrological evidence of the huge changes and energetic evolution of which I have written elsewhere. My advice: Allow. Go with the flow; don’t resist. It is not possible to turn back this tide. And, trust – trust in your ability to handle what confronts you, trust in your guidance and support, for I believe it is there for each of us, and trust in the unfolding of a better, more just and more amenable world that is being created by each of us as we evolve. Trust, even as it appears that the structures of society are collapsing around us.
